Reservation Policy
We require clients to send a
$100 non-refundable (but
transferable to another litter)
deposit to secure a puppy from
one of our litters when
pregnancy is confirmed (we
will send pics of dam in whelp).
This is to be sent via money
order or check in the mail
[personal checks accepted for
$100 deposits ONLY]. We
don't allow any visits to see
pups before they are 4 weeks
old to protect them from
potential disease & viruses.
Pups are ready for pick up by
new owners after their licensed
vet check at 6 1/2-8 wks of
age. Balance for the puppy is
to be paid in CASH at the time
of pick-up. NO EXCEPTIONS.
If you come to pick up your
puppy & do not have balance
due w/ you in cash, you will
LEAVE without your puppy &
will have to make new
arrangements for pick-up.
We'd be happy to explain why
we have to have this policy if
you inquire-it's not by our
personal choice but rather
decided for us by past
experience with people.

Interesting Detail: Why Richthofen?
We chose the name "Richthofen" from
the great Manfred vom Richthofen, also
known in history as the infamous "RED
BARON", Germany's top flying ace of
WW1. He was skilled at his profession
and took it extremely serious. I have
always found the story of Manfred
intriguing and his dedication to his
country admirable.
And yes, Manfred indeed had a
German Shepherd Dog named Moritz!
